Boring Schools

Naas and Cottrell Elementary and Boring Middle School  are the three public schools in the limits of Boring. They are all part of the Oregon Trail School District, which feeds into Sandy High School.

Private Schools in the Boring area include: Hood View Junior Academy, a Seventh Day Adventist pre -school through 8th grade.

The first school in Boring was on the homestead of W.H.Boring, whom the town was named after. In 1904 a new school was built on Richey Rd. In the 1920′s high school students walked 2.5 miles to Boring to take a 1/2 hour street car ride to Gresham to go to school.
